The first time I could afford to go to PRSA’s ICON was in San Francisco. When I found myself in the same room as thousands of other PR professionals, I was speechless – a first for me. How could I possibly measure up? A few seconds later, a PR pro introduced herself and after that, you couldn’t shut me up. I made connections I still have today and learned so much that I more than covered the cost of attending. I’ve gone to ICON almost every year since then and always leave totally energized and inspired.

ICON 2019 (taking place October 20-22 in San Diego) will spotlight the intersection of technology and media.
