Account Director (Enterprise & Consumer Tech)
Bi-coastal integrated technology communications agency in San Francisco is expanding their team with an Account Director. Clients include established brands that have changed the way we work & live, along with the emerging consumer tech and B2B companies.
The Account Director is an experienced strategic PR practitioner and plays a leadership role for both the clients and the agency team. In this role the AD is responsible for client retention, setting strategies and plans of action, meeting client goals and metrics, and demonstrating a track record of producing high-quality work. On the business development side, Account Directors are expected to be a strong #2 in new business pitches and to look for ways to grow existing account revenues. As a member of the Leadership Team, the AD participates in agency planning discussions including staffing, hiring and overall growth plans and oversee the growth and professional development of direct reports.
Ideal candidates have 8-10 years of public relations experience with a solid understanding of the overall technology industry and deep relationships with a specific category of higher level media (business, technology or consumer). In addition, the AD is a compelling presenter and a strategic, analytical thinker with the initiative to see a program through from start to finish.
