The mission of Adobe’s Diversity and Inclusion organization is to accelerate Adobe’s momentum and reputation as a diversity leader. Reporting to Adobe’s senior director of diversity and inclusion, this new role is chartered with shaping and executing the “Adobe For All” story across channels and audiences.
What you’ll do
Develop and maintain core messaging about Adobe’s D&I strategy, programs and momentum, serving as a Center of Excellence for marketing and Employee Experience teams globally
Spearhead content strategy for all vehicles including Adobe.com, Adobe’s intranet, blogs, presentations, press talking points and the D&I annual report
Author content – blogs, social media posts, executive emails, etc. – and raise visibility for Adobe’s D&I leaders.
Shape communication strategy relative to industry developments, investor considerations and legal sensitivities
Conceive and drive creative campaign and PR news-generating ideas to keep Adobe D&I top-of-mind internally and externally, including the development of thought leadership research
Supervise occasional video development for a wide variety of audiences internally and externally
Ensure Adobe has strong communication plans and execution in place for its employee networks and key D&I milestones of the year, including Adobe For All Summit, cultural moments (e.g. International Women’s Day), etc.
Collaborate on joint initiatives with global marketing teams, including Brand, Studio, Brand Purpose, Social Media, PR, Executive Communications, Employee Communications and others
Develop, maintain and protect clear guidelines about the use of Adobe For All, including visual branding, in partnership with the Adobe Studio team
What you need to succeed
You are a strategic communicator with a healthy balance between seeing the big picture and owning the fine details. You love the ability to influence audience opinions and outcomes through a clear, compelling message.
You should demonstrate most of the requirements listed below:
BA/BS in communications, public relations, marketing or related field.
Minimum ten years of experience in public relations, executive communications, marketing communications or related field. Some corporate experience essential.
A solid track record in developing message platforms and implementing communications initiatives for nuanced and complex corporate issues. Direct experience with D&I topics preferred.
Excellent writing, editing and presentation development skills as demonstrated by examples of previous work. Strength in both verbal and visual thinking highly desirable.
Experience in supervising the development of video, visual identity, website content, and original surveys/research all highly desirable.
Understanding of unique audience requirements and sensitivities, including employees, partners, shareholders and media.
Ability to collaborate with worldwide colleagues across organizational and cultural boundaries in support of communications goals to ensure implementation of messages and programs.
Strong project management skills, including defining the project, identifying required resources including agencies and vendors, monitoring of deliverables and performance against objectives.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud preferred but not required.
