The spirit of sharing stories and ideas is the core of what TED talks are about; whether it’s in technology, love, or activism, TED is for people who have an idea worth sharing. Do you have an idea that you’re itching to share with the world? Attend this week’s forum and listen to Simone Ross, tech curator at TED, as she shares firsthand on what she looks for in TED submissions and why, what you don’t see on TED’s website, and her advice for those seeking to make their next project TEDworthy.
Simone is the Technology Curator at TED. As an international conference program executive and content specialist she advises companies on their content and conference strategy, and is known for creating insightful and challenging programs that connect the people and ideas at the intersection of technology and progress. She specializes in designing programs with a focus on the applications and implications of tech on business and society. As the cofounder and chief program officer of Techonomy Media she was responsible for all program content and served as executive producer for the Techonomy conferences. Prior to Techonomy, she was program director for Fortune’s conference division. Before joining Fortune, she was director of operations at the Computerworld Smithsonian Information Technology Awards Program.
